An avid chamber musician, Hannah has played with the Solana Quartet since 2018 and performed with the Perlman Piano Trio, an ensemble generously funded by Dr. Kato Perlman, in its 2020-2021 season. She has attended numerous festivals, including The Mimir Chamber Music Festival and the Wintergreen Music Festival, and has worked with members of the Carnegie Hall-affiliated ensemble Decoda to learn music outreach methods. Prior to her time at UW-Madison, Hannah was the principal cellist of the Milwaukee Youth Symphony Orchestra’s Chamber Orchestra and Senior Symphony and studied with Scott Cook at the Cello Institute of Milwaukee. In addition to her major in Music Performance, she is completing a second major in Environmental Studies and a certificate in Food Systems.
