A concert based on the Recovered Voices Initiative. Soprano Kristina Bachrach has been part of this initiative, started by James Conlon and Los Angeles Opera, which focuses on musical works and musicians that were either suppressed or killed by the Nazi regime in World War II.

Ms. Bachrach holds degrees from Mannes College and the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (summa cum laude). She is an award winner with the Ziering-Conlon Art Song Competition, American Prize Competition, the Philharmonic Society of Arlington’s Young Artist Competition, the Metrowest Opera Competition, and the Schuyler Foundation for Career Bridges.

“These two reveries framed de Falla’s languid “Psyché,” sung with precise diction and focused tone by the soprano Kristina Bachrach. Ms. Bachrach was passionate yet lucid in her contributions to the Schoenberg, rising to visionary fervor.” Zachary Woolfe for The New York Times
