Featuring the Wisconsin premiere of Dominick DiOrio’s “A Dome of Many-Coloured Glass”, a 2012 four-movement setting of Amy Lowell’s poetry, featuring marimba and soprano soloist with the choir. DiOrio is a choral conducting professor at the Indiana University who has won many composing awards while at Yale and has many commissions to his credit. The work is tonal but diverse in texture and sound.
