The Hamel Music Center Groundbreaking Ceremony: A Collection of Images

We thank all who attended our momentous event on Friday, October 28, at the corner of Lake Street and University Avenue. Here is where the new Hamel Music Center (named for Pamela O. and George ’80 Hamel Jr.) will be built to house performance spaces in the Mead Witter School of Music. A large concert hall will be called the Mead Witter Foundation Concert Hall, and the new recital hall will be designated the Collins Recital Hall, after longtime donor Paul Collins ’58. The hall is expect to be completed in the spring of 2019.
