Although a large number of music majors participate in the Concert Band, membership also includes many talented students from other areas. Concerts of outstanding band literature are performed each semester both on and off campus and the band has numerous opportunities to work with leading guest conductors and artists.

Admission to the ensemble is by audition. Sign up before each semester begins in Room 4561 Humanities (or call 608-263-1896). Auditions will include a prepared piece, scales, and sight reading.
