Admission Requirements
*NOTE: Applications for the Orchestral Conducting Program for the academic year 2010-11 are being accepted. Please be advised, however, that enrollment is very limited.*
Please submit along with your School of Music Application:
MM candidates should submit an edited DVD of no fewer than 15 minutes in length. Excerpts from both a rehearsal and a performance would be preferred, but a tape of a performance only is acceptable. A high-quality tape is the first step toward an invitation to audition in person. After reviewing the DVD, transcripts, and other application materials, a candidate may be invited for an audition with one of the School of Music ensembles and for interviews with the conducting faculty.
