Admission Requirements

*NOTE: When filling out the Graduate School application, apply for Music:Performance MM.*

Please submit along with your School of Music Application:

MM composition candidates are required to submit preliminary recordings in MP3 format for evaluation (see Uploads for more info).  They should also submit 3-5 scores (on paper, and bound) and recordings on CD of at least two of those scores.  With the scores and CD's, include a list of all completed compositions, including title, instrumentation, duration, date of composition, and first public performance.

All these materials must be received by December 1 but applicants are urged to apply as early as possible.

If you would like your scores and CD's returned to you after admission decisions are made, you must include a self-address and FULLY postage-paid envelope large enough to hold all materials. We will not return materials otherwise.
