Information Session for Prospective Undergraduate Music Majors

Information Session is a great way to get to know the school!
Come and join us on the afternoon of Friday, October 30, 2009 from 11am - 5pm.
The program will provide students who are interested in pursuing a
music major a glimpse of the various aspects of the School of Music.
11:00-11:30 am – Admission and Degree Information
12:00-1:10 pm – Chorale Choir Rehearsal – Mills Concert Hall
12:00-1:00 pm – Symphonic Wind Ensemble Rehearsal – Rm 1341
12:00-2:00 pm – Bass Master Class – Rm 1321
1:15-1:45 pm – Voice Prof Mimmi Fulmer and current voice majors talk about the voice program. Room TBA
1:20-2:10 pm – Music in Performance Class featuring performance by mixed brass ensemble – Mills Concert Hall
2:25-3:30 pm – Violin Master Class with Prof. Tyrone Greive – Room to be determined
2:25-5:00 pm – Tuba/Euphonium Ensemble Rehearsal – Rm 1321
2:30-4:30 pm – Percussion Ensemble Rehearsal – Rm 1341

Directions, Parking and Lodging
Parking in Madison will be at a premium this day because of the Halloween weekend. You may want to plan an early arrival.
